Seung-O LEE is a Korean artist who appreciates pop culture and traditional painting. Majored in Fine Arts at Chungang University in Korea, he is a talented and compelling artist in Korea. He held solo exhibits at Seoul Art Center, Kwanhoon Gallery and etc. and actively participated in a number of group exhibits such as the New Collection Exhibit (National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea), the International Art Festival(Seoul Museum of Art), and so on.
“In Korea, resale right is still unfamiliar concept but I have recognized the significance of it and I feel it is very important for all of us to know about it. Also, more consideration of artists’ rights and a professional approach should be needed. It would serve as a foundation to protect artists and develop plentiful art works in the world, especially in Korea.”
